Why Use Metal? Turning metals into art is a physically demanding and time-consuming effort. Above all it takes creative ability to look at a sheet of metal and see a piece of contemporary art or furniture. Metal is unique for its strength and beauty. It's inherently durable yet a remarkably warm and timeless addition to a room. To create metal art pieces the material is cut, formed and welded together by hand. Finally, each completed piece is finished in a variety of ways. Tom specializes in the use of "Flame Coloring" this utilizes extreme heat to color the material. Also he patinas pieces in Natural Rust, Polished Metal (steel in color), Hand Painted, Powder Coated and Spray Painted.
